Back to the gym!

I’ve not been to the gym for a couple of months. I was doing weightlifting PT sessions before my break, but today I went to use the treadmill and cross trainer. It feels great to be moving my body again. I want to be more consistent with going to the gym and to take my weight more seriously. I’ve been experiencing a lot of emotional resistance lately, but that doesn’t mean I should abandon my goal of being fit.

Actually, the more honest framing is: I have an inkling to want “being fit” to be my goal, but since I’m not putting in any effort to achieve it, it’s not really my goal. I have to be honest, intentional, and sincere about achieving it. Only then is it truly a goal.

Do you have goals on the backburner that don’t look like or feel like goals? What can you do to start working on them?
