Minor changes

I’m continually being reminded how much my environment shapes my behavior. I made a truly minor adjustment yesterday to my writing desk. It’s now a foot deeper and extends out more into the room, and I find I’m much more likely to sit there now to read and write. My PC is sitting a bit lower down and closer to the corner of the room, and I’ve been ignoring it, just getting on it long enough to start a slow TV canal boat video.

Basically, I made the affordance of sitting at my writing desk more inviting. And once I’m sitting there I have a Kindle and a Freewrite near at hand, inviting me to read or write.
