Saying no is the first step

I have finally taken the first step and said no to a client who asked me to maintain his personal WordPress site. Although I have been trying to move away from WordPress, it is something I am good at, and it is very popular among non-tech clients who prefer it.

While it is difficult for me to turn down big projects since I still need the income to cover my monthly expenses, I am trying to say no to smaller deals. Additionally, I am putting in a lot of effort to convert my existing customers from WordPress to a Laravel custom build.

It will be tough, but saying no is the first step.
