42

I never read The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, but I understand that the number “42” has some sort of significance in the story.

Today marks the 42nd issue of the Be Wellthy newsletter. I look back fondly at this experience over the last nine months. Some issues are more popular than others (as one would expect). It wasn’t until February when I really felt like I started to hit my stride. The first few months I was testing out different ideas and I wasn’t necessarily staying “on-message.” I tried to be topical and inject current events, but I realized that’s not really my style.

In May, I doubled down on the idea of biohacking, and it’s clear to me that this is the space where I belong. Not only is biohacking of major interest to me, but there is also a great community of fellow biohackers who seem to be engaged in this niche.

I also decided recently that I’m going to keep this newsletter as a hobby. I’m not gunning to make income with it. I really don’t need that added pressure, when I get plenty of that from the main job that does pay the bills. This doesn’t mean I won’t still try to grow my audience. I still want to reach that magical number of 1,000 subscribers just to say I did it.

So, here’s to #42. I don’t know how many more issues will come, but I have enjoyed the journey thus far.
