Bright Holiday - Day 5

The weather was just fantastic today, with plenty of sun and not too hot. In the afternoon, the river banks were full of people enjoying summer fun. Unfortunately for me, day five of my holidays was the last workday of this week, so I couldn’t enjoy the sunshine.

Our dog Louie enjoyed his first swim in the river. He was happy enough to jump in and paddle as hard as he could to keep his head above water. Our younger dog, Otis, wasn’t as brave and didn’t go in. Instead, he would run up and down the river bank barking at Louie.

I spent my day working in a co-share workspace. It allowed me to focus more on my work and was less disruptive for the family. But I felt a little jealous that I couldn’t enjoy the great weather. I have no more work this week, so tomorrow I can enjoy my holiday.
