Consistent Writing experiment

I haven’t written on Medium in a while. I know I have over 500 different posts that I have written since 2019 on almost a daily basis. So I have a lot of content I could repost. Every book or course I have taken says that I should post online on a consistent basis if I want my writing to have traction. Apparently some of the matrices used by a publishing company included social media following.

So I posted one article yesterday. I did need time to find a relevant copy right free image and make sure that the title and sub-title are interesting. I have already seen that the post has gotten some traction in 24 hours. So I am considering posting around once a week. Maybe every Wednesday. I want to do this experiment until the end of the year and see what changes I notice. At the moment, I have 330 followers but have made not more than $0.10 on any one month from my articles.

Let’s see how that changes by Jan 1 2023.

Sometimes I feel finding the right image, ensuring it’s free for commercial use, and then editing it takes more time than the writing!

I’m planning to write again this month on Medium. I mostly want to see if AI-generated illustrations improve engagement. I know the secret is to write short and focused articles, but I always want to include EVERYTHING, and then I don’t end up finishing.

Same here Jason. I spend forever editing too.
What AI tool are you using @Winkletter? Anything free?

@keni I’m running Stable Diffusion on my PC. Free except it needs a decent GPU.
