Day of joy

Today I spent the full day away from my computer and it’s the first time I’ve done that in a while. I got to spend quality time with a friend, had deep conversations, had a sandwich that used to only available in Florence and had intense ping ping matches. I’m just thankful for the ability to enjoy these simple pleasures and to be surrounded by people I love and be loved by the people they love as well. These few years have only taught me to treasure them more and the best way to make the most of them, is to be as present for them as possible. Today I practiced that intention to the fullest, and I am completely filled with joy.
