Gather & Grow Mentorship Group Session 1

This morning, I participated in the first session of the Gather & Grow Mentorship Group. Terese Santos, the elite leader and founder of our team in LifeWave, offered the chance to be part of the group to members under her organization, which spans over 100,000 people worldwide. She instructed us to email her to introduce ourselves and explain why we would like to participate in the program. For posterity, and if anyone is curious, I'll reproduce my email here.
Hello Terese--My name is Brandon Wilson, and I became a Brand Partner with LifeWave on 10/14/24.I want to start out by thanking you for sharing the RAS manifestation technique. I used it to set a goal to achieve the rank of Manager by 12/31/24, and I accomplished it!I am committed to exiting my 20+ year career as an IT consultant in the health insurance industry to pursue my passion for biohacking and helping people take control of their health. I've been searching for the vehicle that will allow me to prosper, and I am confident that LifeWave is the path forward.I'm a big believer in personal development. Last year, I completed the 6-month Manifesting Mastery course on Mindvalley. I will be attending Michael Bernoff's Call to Action program this month. I was thrilled to hear your announcement about the Gather & Grow program, and I would be grateful for your consideration to join this amazing opportunity.I appreciate your insights, wisdom, and willingness to share your principles of success. I am willing to learn and contribute to this community of amazing souls who share the same vision and purpose.When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.I am ready. Thank you for all that you do.With gratitude,Brandon
During the call, she stated that around 80 people applied to join the program, and she selected only 35. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity that has come at the perfect time.
A significant topic on today's call was leadership. One of the points that stood out to me was her thoughts on advice. She said, "Be careful whom you take advice from. Most people who have succeeded in business have failed at living. These are not truly happy people. Happy people give and encourage. Get in close proximity to people who have achieved what you want to achieve AND are thriving and happy."
I am marking today as the first big step toward my declared goal for this year: Quit my job in the health insurance industry and become a full-time biohacker to help others heal by 12/31/25.

+1 what Haider said! That’s a great piece of meta-advice. Makes me think a lot about the folks I follow on Twitter. There were a few who I follow enthusiastically, even tried following some of their advice, but only later realised they divorced, was out of balance, and failed at living.
Can I tweet this?

@haideralmosawi I had a feeling you’d enjoy that aspect. @jasonleow Sure!
I STRONGLY relate to this. I see SOOO many people using big names in the startup world as their sources of inspiration when they don’t realize the misery that comes with their lifestyle (and outlook). I once met a Silicon Valley investor who said he wants the founders he invests in to have miserable lives (and families) because he expects the founders to dedicate fully to their startups. What a disgusting outlook!
I’d love to be an investor who is dedicated to the well-being of the founders I invest in because I know that will get me the best results (especially in how I define success, which is to value profitability and human prosperity, as well.
