I’m so excited that I finally finished the Thomas Friedman summary and review series today! It’s been a slog to summarise and review what Friedman had been writing over the past 20+ years, focusing on his globalisation++ books:
- Lexus and the Olive Tree, ~ c. 1999-2000
- The World is Flat ~ c. 2004-2006
- Hot, Flat, and Crowded ~ c. 2008
- That Used To Be Us, with Michael Mandelbaum, c. 2011
- Thank You For Being Late, c. 2016
There was an anthology of opinion columns called, “Longitudes and Attitudes” - but I have left that out, since it’s a collection and rather specific to the world’s attitudes towards America and of the invasions subsequently.
I will get round to doing the another author, and I’m eyeing Francis Fukuyama next - his ideas have been hugely influential in the past, and he’s a well-rounded thinker than people give him credit for I think.
