Joy of gaming

I archived my habit of joy because I took a break from hotrodding. Now that the weather is nice, I suppose I can get back out there again but there’s been no time with the craziness of work.

I finally decided it’s time to bring the fun back. I found a great deal on a gaming laptop, and I was able to pick it up today at Best Buy. Macs are great for a lot of things, but I realize gaming is not high on the list. I had purchased an ASUS beast of a laptop maybe six years ago, and I didn’t want to go back to using it.

So what’s the first game? I had been playing Torchlight II, but that seems to have run its course. I discovered that Torchlight III is out there, but it was PC only. That planted the seed months ago, and now it’s time to reap.

I’m a big fan of the Diablo-style games where you level up a character, collect loot, and add new skills. That reminds me. Diablo II remastered has also been released. That will be next on my list, though I’m supposed to wait for a buddy of mine who wants to start playing from scratch with me.
