My Wednesday Commute

It’s January again, and I’m back to my usual weekly commute to SG after taking a month-long break in December. I’m glad to return to this routine, as these trips are one of my cherished "me time” moments.

I initially planned to meet a client, but they didn’t respond. Then I remembered that one of my best friends is moving to AU with her husband in just a week. I changed my plans to catch up with her, and fortunately, she hadn’t gotten overwhelmed with packing and had time to meet up.

After lunch, I returned home to pick up some letters. That was the extent of my day, and now it’s time to head back.

On my way back from SG, I found that the Grab taxi fare was quite high, so I opted to take the bus. I got off somewhere in the middle and discovered a café I’ve always wanted to visit but never had the time for. I sat down, ordered a coffee, and started writing my post while waiting for my wife to pick me up later on her way to get our little one.
