I watched the new Dr Strange film last night, now that it has arrived on Disney+
I wasn’t that impressed to be honest. Impressive CGI aside, the story was a bit weak and didn’t really make a great deal of sense. Perhaps I should have watched all of Wanda Vision first, but I thought that might be overkill. Plus, who releases a film where you need to pre-watch a more obscure TV show to understand the plot.
I am not too impressed by films any more. It takes something amazing to push my buttons. I feel that most are just “a bit Meh!” or “ok, nothing exciting”
Perhaps I am just watching the wrong films?
I can’t even remember the last film that I would recommend people see.

Two films I do really like are Her and American Beauty. I think I see myself in those films which is why I like them. Not that I want to sleep with underage cheerleaders, just that I can empathise with some of the characters more than in other films.
I’m not into this Marvel Cinematic Universe. I just want to be entertained and not do homework and research before watching a movie. That said, you are a tough customer. I’d like to hear about a piece of content you truly enjoyed.
