The way the universe communicates

I visited downtown Brighton, Michigan, several times on this trip, and the first time afforded the opportunity to peruse an independent bookstore. I completely blew past the endless rows of fiction (because who has time for fiction?) and went straight to the business/personal development shelf. I stood in front of the shelf, closed my eyes, and asked for a book to appear to me. Sure enough, I found a book called Don't Believe Everything You Think by Joseph Nguyen. The title got my attention because I've referenced the phrase several times. I started reading the book and instantly realized it is a message I'm ready for.

I opened James Clear's 3-2-1 email for this week, and he wrote about his recommendations for three books that set someone up for success in life. He chose one to master habits, one to master the mind, and one to master money. It's no surprise that Atomic Habits was the first book. The second book was Don't Believe Everything You Think. This book went from off my radar to the forefront. By the way, the third book was The Simple Path to Wealth by JL Collins for those who are curious.

So the moral of the story is ask and ye shall receive. Pay attention to the way the universe communicates.
