1 year only

I just received some unfortunate news regarding my Singapore PR’s re-entry permit (REP). The renewal for my REP has been extended for only one year, which is unusual for me as a long-time PR of over 10 years. I suspect that the COVID situation might be the reason for this and also my infrequent travel to Singapore, especially with my little one.

Some of my friends have informed me that this extension for one year might be my final chance to renew my REP. If the situation does not improve, I might lose my PR status. This is disheartening news, and I must start planning to increase my travel to Singapore.
