What I need is a task manager that:

1. Has an iPad version
2. Is free to use, but the paid version shouldn’t be too expensive
3. Is cross-platform
4. Can share tasks with due dates to Google Calendar within the free tier.

I found that TickTick meets all the requirements I listed. Superlist failed to meet the second point since the paid version is too expensive.

Additional features that I love about TickTick:

1. You can import a local calendar and plan your tasks against these calendars within the free tier.
2. You can have various types of content within a list, not just tasks.
3. You can use a page to list out some important things.
4. It has an interesting sticky notes feature on iOS.

I have moved my product and media work to TickTick, and I hope I will stick with it.
