Am I A Cookie?

What am I supposed to do with my ideas? Today I was making a prototype for a game called “Am I A Cookie?” but I’m losing steam just a few minutes in. I know myself too well. I’ll make a prototype, post it online, and then abandon it. Too many ideas, and not enough coherence. That’s probably why I keep coming back to fiction. Maybe I can just write the game into a story.

Am I A Cookie?

A blind walk number line trivia game. You start off with two anchor points, a target item, and a number line that represents a specific metric like sugar content, scoville units, or a Rotten Tomatoes score. You’re given a target item and for your first move you can place the target item anywhere on the line. If you get it right, you win 100 points. After each wrong guess, you can move one spot left or right, with the potential pot of points dropping down drastically with each step.

There, I made a little prototype that I have on my computer. I had Nano Banana make a mockup of an ad. I wrote about it here. Now, I can let this idea go.
