My most productive time is early morning. I generally wake up at 5:00 a.m. and begin my day promptly. This routine offers several benefits, both physically and mentally, as well as professionally. Mornings tend to be quieter and less distracting, helping me think clearly and organise my day. I appreciate the calmness of the mornings as I anticipate the tasks of my day.

My morning routine helps me start the day intentionally, whether through journaling, reviewing my calendar, or setting tasks, which enhances my ability to make thoughtful choices throughout the day. Usually, I walk the dogs if it’s not too cold, which can increase energy and boost metabolism. Even a brief walk can lift my mood. Waking up early gives me a head start on my priorities, allowing me to handle important tasks before the day becomes hectic. Having a consistent routine helps reduce my anxiety and increases my sense of control, especially when managing a busy schedule.

Since I wake up early every morning, I also need to go to bed early in the evening to ensure I get enough rest. I usually start feeling tired around 8:00 PM, which signals to me that it’s time to wind down. It’s quite common for me to be in bed and asleep by 9:00 p.m., allowing me to wake up refreshed for the new day.
