Back To Ghost

I launched my own blog on Ghost but grew tired of self-hosting, leading me to migrate to Hashnode, a free platform for developer blogs. After that, I shifted from Hashnode to a blog engine I created using Filamentphp. However, the excitement of building my own blog engine faded quickly, and I found that what I built didn’t inspire me to continue blogging.
I pondered my next steps: should I return to Hashnode or stick with my current creation? I even considered migrating my blog to Obsidian and developing an engine for generating a static site from it. After much thought, I decided to return to Ghost, the platform where I initially started my blogging journey. It just felt right once I set up a local version and experimented with it. I even wrote some code to transfer my existing FilamentPHP posts to Ghost, and it worked out well.
I plan to migrate back this week so that I can set these thoughts aside and focus on writing.
