Black Friday 2023

I usually post about my Black Friday deals every year. Let’s see what I got during Black Friday 2023!

Firstly, I purchased Carbon Copy Cloner. After my main workstation broke down out of the blue, it reminded me of the importance of backup. Although most of my projects are on Github, there are still some small things that I haven’t backed up regularly enough. That’s why I got this Mac app to back up my system.

Secondly, I had trouble choosing between Laravel Daily and DevDojo. While I currently have access to Laravel Daily, the Black Friday deal wasn’t really that attractive. DevDojo gives lots of additional resources with a cheaper price tag, which is why I chose it.

Thirdly, I subscribed to Manganum. I’ve been using the Chrome plugin for a while. It brings lots of interesting features to your Chrome sidebar and mimics how the Arc browser looks. The original price point was a bit high, so I subscribed as a supporter once I saw they were having a Black Friday promo.

Lastly, I bought Tripsy, a trip app that helps you plan your trips. It was a really unexpected deal, but since I predict we’ll be travelling more often in 2024, I thought this app should come in handy.

That’s what I got on Black Friday 2023. I’m looking forward to seeing any other interesting deals come Christmas.
