I didn’t achieve much today. There are a couple days each year when the heat and humidity overwhelm my air conditioner. I can’t be bothered to think and I can’t be bothered to move.

I had Claude work on a reference book for building psychological profiles for characters. It’s an idea I last worked on in 2022, to create a set of short reference books that sit on my writing desk until needed. At that point I was writing them out by hand in notebooks, but today I can generate the text, upload it to Atticus, and print a copy bound in a folder.

I always end up developing these frameworks, but they’re a bit too much to center a writing practice around. Will these frameworks work better if I format them as workbooks that sit on a desk? That’s the question I’m hoping to answer.
