Coloring book speed run

I’ve been neglecting my coloring book projects. Here and there I’ve been improving my technique and I’m ready to see how long it would take me to create a coloring book from scratch and then write up my results.
My first batch of 256 images is running right now. The program is iterating through different backgrounds, foregrounds, and line styles.
This batch will take about 2.5 hours to run, and I’m hoping to grab 40 images from that batch. But I can always have more image generations running in the background while I work on the next steps. In some cases I’m getting some very cursed images (see below). They’re good for a laugh.
Depending on how well these images work, my next step is either fixing parts of the images with the img2img function, or jumping straight into upscaling.
Fixing the images is where I usually bog down. The other day I was working on a specific idea for a photo, and it came together pretty well, but I spent 80% of my time fixing the feet. Not even the feet! The toes on the feet.
Thankfully, with the line art it’s usually easier to fix a small feature like that. I can always just draw the lines myself with Krita.
Once the image is ready, I’ll use Inkscape to convert the raster image to vector and save the new file at the dpi I need 2250x3000. Then the images get uploaded to Canva and my interior is done.
I bet there is a market for a “Fucked Up AI Images Coloring Book” - how many fingers can you color in?
