Day 42: Between certainty and scepticism

To live a profound, creative, and boundless life, make room for both certainty and scepticism.

When to be certain:

• When you want to move forward. Doubting the process, your values, purpose, or goals will trap you in an existential loop. To move, you need to be certain.
• In your faith. Trust that you’ve done the initial work to understand your God and the demands of your faith. Be sceptical of the minuscule details, but not the main pillars.

When to be sceptical:

• When your intuition is sending you mixed signals.
• When you see a majority.
• When you’re in uncharted territory.
