Easter basket

In another year I’ll have passed the threshold of deniability–I’ll definitely be an old man. But while my aunt is around I still get an Easter basket. A nephew is always a nephew. This year the goods came in a plastic bucket with pictures of bunny rabbits, some green confetti in the bottom, chocolate, candy, cupcakes, mandarins, and a few specialty items just for me: peanuts, hot salsa, and a bag of “Ass Kicking Habanero Popcorn.” Top it all off with a slice of pineapple upside-down cake. I need to go hide this somewhere before I fall into a sugar-coma.
