Eyes

Last night was the third night in a row that I have not slept properly. If I had one of those Oura rings, it would probably report a minus score for my day. Divide by zero error!

However, this morning when I usually start to slump at around 10 AM, I just got a bad headache and felt like I have eye strain. I have recently switched to a new laptop with a smaller screen which is probably contributing. I have just come back from a quick walk and noticed that my right eye was more blurry and aching than normal.

Getting an eye test is already on my list as I haven’t had it done for quite a few years now. My eyes are definitely getting worse, I can no longer read close up text and sometimes have to use my phone to zoom in and read tiny words on bottles. I guess that is par for the course when we get older though.

Less caffiene, more time away from screens and more self-care.

Could it be screen brightness? It happens to me all the time. New screen, default brightness, then eye strain and headaches. Then the realisation that the screen was too bright.

Yes, possibly that too - I will turn it down and see if that makes a difference. Thanks.
