Fallout

Yesterday, the Fallout series was released on Amazon. Being a fan of Bethesda game, although I never played it, I had to have a look. As it was late already, I only watched the first episode and two thirds of the seconds, but so far, I’m entertained.

They did a good job on brining the universe to life. I like that they didn’t link anything with the games besides the universe, so stories can be told “on their own”. I also decided to directly watch in original, English, instead of choosing the German synchronized version as I’ve been doing with my Supernatural rush.

I had to pause the Supernatural at the start of season 13 as I was overfed, watching 8 to 10 episodes a week. So having a “small” eight part series now to bring in some variety.

Comments

Just chanced on the teasers. So they made a tv series out of a game?

I binged the last episodes until 1:30 this morning, so I can strongly recommend it :)

They only borrow the universe and lore and create a deeper level of lore associated with the game. Bethesda Game Studios, and the original lead dev (Todd Howard as executive producer) are onboard too.
