Feeling the fantasy

Google’s new Veo 3 video model is showing up on all my AI news recommendations. I realized I hadn’t tried out Veo 2, and now I’m sad I haven’t been using it all along. I made a few isekai fantasy-inspired ASMR videos. There’s no sound in Veo 2, but it’s still great for making these kind of tactile videos.

This might be a new daily habit for me to make a couple videos imagining various fantasy scenarios. This feels like yet another possible tool for writing. I know from personal experience that it helps to write scenes based on things you’ve seen. Even if I can’t make a consistent character or setting, I could start to collect a library of fantasy experiences.

What do potion bottles look like? How would it feel to grab the mana core out of a slime?
