Flying Time

My days seem to be flying by lately. I don’t think it’s because I’m wasting time - I am legitimately busy making progress on the things that matter to me for most of the day. I wish I could make an extra couple hours a day appear. Going to bed later isn’t really an option I think, but I could get up before 7am. I have a hard time having any willpower when I’m still drowsy. Someone once said about me, “Sleepy Clark can’t be trusted,” and I have found that to be true. Even if I have alarms set for 6am, I will absolutely snooze or dismiss them. This used to be a much worse problem - there was a time I couldn’t seem to scrape myself out of bed before 9am, so in contrast with that, 7am is pretty good. I would still like to push myself and get that extra time in the morning to work on projects. Maybe the strategic way to get myself up earlier is 15 minute adjustments in wake up time. If I can get up at 7am, I’m sure I can do 6:45am. I think I will test out that theory and see how it goes.
I’ve found the most effective way to wake up earlier is to go to bed earlier. What’s the reason why this isn’t an option? Have you ever taken a quiz to see what your chronotype is? https://thepowerofwhenquiz.com/
