Getting started

For me, sometimes the hardest part of a job is getting started. It’s a problem that repeats every day. Even when I’ve begun a project I have to recommit myself each day.

For my storytelling cards I have a few open tasks to complete. I’m adding sample quotes to my product website. I’m retouching some of the images and editing the text.

But already I’m starting to think of next steps. I want to write articles on each of the 54 cards and then make those into a book. I find myself getting pulled in that direction. Also, I feel like I should use my cards in National Novel Writing Month to show how they can be used in creating a manuscript.

But I need to finish the main project first. I need to start again so I can finish.
