Hopefully not a wrong technical decision - part 2

Today I m meeting with the project manager to demo what I will show their team tomorrow. I explain why the UI looks different compared to the last round, why I chose a new plugin to replace what I initially used, and lastly, what helped me solve their problems.

The project manager is pretty ok with what I did and just highlighted a few more scenarios for me to demo tomorrow. Yes! I think I made the right decision. The new plugin is straightforward to extend, and I have built four new features within two days. I wasted some of my development time and cost to buy the previous plugin, but I think the new plugin will serve the client and me better in the long run.
