Human Intelligence

As we’re outsourcing more and more tasks to AI every day, it feels like we’re losing our human intelligence*.
One could think that workers who use AI, would be more efficient and then have more time for tasks that require human intelligence.
However, workers who use AI frequently seem more stressed. They seem to be in a competitive race with the machines, trying to keep up, to be faster, more productive, and efficient.
It seems that the more we interact with AI tools, the more we expect humans to be unemotional and fast too. The less patient and tolerant we are.
Would you agree?
There must be studies on this. If you know any, please let me know.
- by Human Intelligence, I mean competencies and skills like:
- emotional intelligence: being aware of one’s emotions and allowing them to pass
- inner compass, which is one of the IDGs (inner development goals)
- reflection and personal growth
- collaboration, which requires building meaningful relationships, which requires being able to be present, be authentic, deeply listen, feel, and be empathetic
- creativity and co-creation: requires to trust one’s ideas and take action and share it (whereas AI can easily give us the feeling it’s never good enough)
- contribution: feeling part of something bigger and wanting to be of service
How would you describe human intelligence? Curious to hear.
