Hey well, I might as well jump on the Apple iPad post bandwagon today!

I read through the live blog from MacRumors last night and watched MKBHD’s video review of the new iPad line up this morning. As he says, just a spec bump to the existing iPad lineup.

I already have a 2020 iPad Pro with folio case and Apple Pencil, plus the OG iPad (still with box) and a few iPad Mini’s that the kids used to have, still stuffed in a drawer or stored in the loft somewhere. I obsessed about getting the iPad Pro, thinking I was going to be using it to create art, but I am not even sure it is charged at the moment, sitting in a little slot between the TV cabinet and the wall.

Because my MacBook Pro’s have been given to my kids, I have to opt to use the iPad Pro sometimes to get things done. It is useful for a quick FTP to SSH session to a web server, but other than that, it just sits there doing nothing in particular.

Just another gadget I enthused over getting, but the dopamine didn’t last long once I had it in my hands.
