I survived.

July has been hanging over my head for almost a year. The mega freelance project that I’ve been working on since last year finally reached its biggest milestone.

Thankfully, everything went smoothly.

The servers handled the load without any major issues. Even during the dinner rush when tickets were being validated non-stop, there was no downtime. Looking back, I guess I over-worried a little, but after spending so many months building towards this event, I think that’s pretty normal.

Once everything was over, I finally gave myself a proper break.

I went on a solo trip to Ipoh. I’ll write more about the trip in another post, but honestly, I think I deserved it after everything that happened this year. It wasn’t just a holiday. It gave me time to slow down, think, and reset.

Even during the trip, I still couldn’t stop building.

I explored a few more AI ideas, spent time experimenting with Hermes and Codex, and continued reshaping my productivity workflow. It’s still far from final, but I made more progress in a few days than I expected. I finally have the time to rethink how I want my whole AI-native workflow to look.

I also spent quite a bit of time cleaning up my product portfolio.

Instead of building more and more products, I think the AI era is pushing me in a different direction. Distribution matters more than ever. Building another product is easy compared to getting people to use it.

Going forward, I think I’ll focus on just two tracks.

One for global products, and one for local AI solutions.

I’d rather build fewer things that actually generate revenue than keep collecting unfinished ideas. We’ll see how it goes.

Overall, July was a month of survival.

Now that the biggest freelance milestone is finally behind me, I’m looking forward to spending more time on products, refining my workflow, and seeing where this AI-native journey takes me.

That’s all for my July.

This morning I put together an idea folder so I can capture ideas, get them out of my head, and track them if they get promoted. It’s hard to stop ideas, so I’m going to focus on clearing them out of my head.
