Kombucha

I haven’t been a fan of kombucha in the past. It’s expensive. Needs to be refrigerated. Usually tastes wicked. And it comes in glass bottles bigger than I can stand to drink in one sitting.

But recently I’ve become hooked on a brand called Remedy.

The initial flavor still aggravates my tastebuds, but the aftertaste quickly covers it up. I don’t have to refrigerate them so I can keep a 24-pack in my pantry. They’re sugar free. And I feel exceptionally well after drinking a can.

I started by drinking one each night. Now I’m drinking another can each morning instead of coffee.

Apparently it’s brewed with sugar, but by time the kombucha is canned the sugar has been exhausted. Kombucha is supposed to be good at bringing down blood-sugar levels, and I’m hoping this more convenient kombucha has the same effect.
