The L2P Program is a community-based initiative designed to support eligible young learner drivers in Victoria aged between 16 and 21 (and in some cases up to 23). This program helps those who do not have access to a supervising driver or a suitable vehicle gain the driving experience required to obtain a probationary license.

The L2P Program is free for learner drivers who meet the eligibility criteria. Volunteer mentors, partner organisations, discounted services, volunteer access, and more support it. Once accepted into the program, eligible learners are paired with a fully licensed volunteer mentor and have access to a program car. The car is used to gain supervised driving experience.

After teaching my two daughters to drive, I think it is important that all young drivers are adequately supported when learning to drive. So, I put my hand up to be a volunteer mentor.
