So I talk about what is GetPay about yesterday; let’s talk about our competitor. GetPay have lots of competitors in a different area.

  1. Site Builder - lots of site builder starting with no Stripe integration at first, which are perfectly our target. But slowly, they will integrate with Stripe checkout since it is pretty simple to integrate.
    Examples include Carrd, Softr.

  2. Form Builder - Other than page builder, Form builder is the next on the list. Lots of services that allow you to build form has integrated with payment gateway. You can show the form to the users and collect payment directly.
    Examples include Typeform, Paperform.

  3. Payment Page Builder - Something new that start last year, you can build a payment page like how you build a landing page, but the focus is to collect payment or selling a few things.
    Example include Payhere, TillyPay.

The GetPay target is more like building a link and sending the user directly to the Stripe Checkout page. We link Stripe API to the Stripe Checkout page, and our biggest competitor is Stripe because they can quickly just build something in-house.

Curious: How are you planning to differentiate/stand out from these competitors?

One thing I find lacking in a lot of payment solutions is a secure/unique redirect feature. Say I sell a digital download and want to redirect customer to download a file after paying. Most of these platforms allow for redirect but to public URLs. That risks exposing my download file URL to public. I wish there was a nocode way to do what a coded Stripe checkout integration usually does - verify with server for some params to generate a unique url page for downloads. Not sure if possible, but just wanted to share with you one of my painpoints using 3-4 different payment providers…

I think Gumroad can do that? btw can check FluryApp too. In fact, I don’t think Stripe Checkout can do that.

Yes, I’m on Flurly now actually. Didn’t like Gumroad because it’s Paypal. But both of them host the file on their platform. I was wondering if there was a way to host file and download page on my own site, but using this nocode gateway can somehow redirect securely… Random idea, don’t mind me ;D
