Manhwa

Today I’ve been diving into Korean manhwa, in particular the comics with an RPG-based theme. I like isekai and LitRPG, and Solo Leveling was pretty interesting–surely I’ll like these RPG-based stories from Korea, right? I’ve been watching recaps, and even though the story concepts on the surface resemble Japanese isekai, the tone and plots are so much darker and utilitarian. After just one day, I need a break to go watch something cute and cozy with some slice of life relationship building and maybe a few scenes where characters sip tea and share cupcakes. Fewer main characters standing on a mountain of corpses.
