Mindset and overcoming failure

I started off as a constant failure. Falling as I tried to walk. Babbling instead of speaking coherently. Making messes in the world around me. I got praised when I took a few steps or finally said “mama.” Over time I got less praise, and only when I did something someone else noticed. And people started to notice me more for my failure to fit in.

I got to a point as an adult when I felt like I should stop failing. I think this is called zero-shot learning in the world of AI.

A fear of failure leads to stagnation.

Of course, if I’m working with power tools, I probably don’t want to fail at some things, like safety measures.

But where I can allow it, failure should be the default outcome. It shows I’m pushing past my boundaries. I can only really fail to act. I can only fail to fail.

Fail to fail! Nice one. Agree so much with this. We were born to learn thru failing

I like the mindset. Your writing practice shows as you’re able to convey an important idea succinctly. 👏
