My first Small Claim - 2

I recently shared about how I filed a small claim against a company that did not pay my invoice last year. Following the standard operating procedure, I sent them a court notice through registered mail and also emailed them to expedite the process.

After being silent since September 2023, I finally received a reply from the company. As expected, they tried to evade responsibility by claiming that the previous CEO, whom I had dealt with, was no longer with the organization. They also questioned why I had sent the notice to their main company based in Singapore, as they usually use an overseas company to deal with third-party vendors.

Luckily, I had all the records before filing the claim and was able to provide proof that this company had paid me previously. Now, I am waiting to see how their new CEO will respond.
