New Stuff

I have been thinking about all that has happened to me since July 2024, which was when I stopped writing here.
- My eldest son moved out, buying his first home with his girlfriend
- I moved away from Android, back to an iPhone 16 Pro Max and have an Apple Watch 10 too.
- I got a new M4 MacBook Air
- I got a new car, second hand from my Dad, after he decided he didn’t want to risk driving any longer. Its nice to have 2 cars again.
That is probably about it… I can’t really think of anything else that would be worthy of a mention.
Probably pretty sad really, that I don’t have anything else to tell people about. I suspect other people have lots more interesting points they could make about their lives.
I am constantly reminded of the “I am a human being… not a human doing” quote. I just exist for everyone else, not for me.
I find this exercise useful: Write a letter imagining you are reflecting about the upcoming year, but a year from now, having accomplished everything you want to accomplish. What would you include in the letter?
This can include what you have done, continue to do (i.e. activities you enjoy), and the person you have become.
This will, at least, help you define success for yourself, then work towards it.
