Not taking action

I often wonder how people take action so easily? The prolific creators just seem to be able to ship so quickly and easily, whilst I am mired in indecision and analysis paralysis.
This morning I thought of writing a guide to SEO, focussing on getting the very basics of how (I believe) a website should be set up. After seeing some of the posts on Reddit, there are many people who never address the simple things. They all believe they have done the best site ever and are confused as to why Google won’t rank them highly or at all.
My idea was to present SEO in a “get the basics right” way, explaining the why as well as the how.
But immediately, I was unsure if I was the right person to be doing this. Surely people would only read from an SEO “expert” who can demonstrate that what they teach works. My Imposter Syndrome kicks in immediately.
I was also stuck thinking about how to present the information. An eBook, a WordPress site, Notion site? And how would I create the images and decide what to write about? SEO can be an immense subject to tackle. There will be lots of parts of SEO that I have no experience of.
Also, there is no accountability for me if I don’t do this. Who is going to dig me in the ribs when I am just surfing Twitter instead of creating something?
I get the impression that other creators would just take action. Flesh out an outline of the information and get to work, putting it out there for all to see on day 1. #buildinpublic
But I don’t feel I can do that. There are too many questions, too many variables and potential pitfalls to the project. Plus, by the time I have finished the first chapter, SEO will have changed again - I would be caught in a loop of constantly updating it, unless I concentrated on the real basics and nothing too complex.
Also, how will it make me money?
I know I shouldn’t even be thinking about that right now anyway. I need to give, give, give before I can ask.

If you need an accountability buddy, I’m happy to volunteer haha.

I see all kinds of SEO experts including Baz and his latest offering. I have no idea whether any of these people are any good. The proof is in the pudding. If you started a website from scratch and showed your results after a set period of time, 90 days, six months, a year, then I would say okay you’re the real deal where do I sign up.
