🎯Time to Focus on Products!

Looking back at my October goals, I expect most will carry over into November. 😅

Rather than repeating the same goals every month, I think it’s time to shift my focus.

December will be mostly holidays and family time, so November is probably my last proper month to push things forward before the year ends.

This time, I really want to focus on shipping, marketing, and hopefully making some money from my products.

Here’s the plan!

💰 1. MailScope — My Main Priority

This will be my biggest focus for November.

I’ve spent enough time building and experimenting with different product ideas. Now I want to launch MailScope as a paid product and see whether people will pay for it.

My target: Sell 30 copies in November.

Not sure how realistic that is, but I need a number to work towards.

📣 2. BarPeek & HookFeed — Marketing Mode

Both products have taken up quite a bit of my building time.

For November, I want to spend less time adding features and more time sharing what I’ve built.

More posts, more demos, and hopefully getting them in front of the right people.

Building is fun, but getting people to discover and use the products is another challenge.

🔎 3. ELI5 — Backlinks & Indexing

ELI5 will continue running, but my focus is shifting towards SEO.

Mainly getting more backlinks, improving indexing, and making sure the existing content is actually discovered.

There’s already quite a bit of content there. I think it’s time to focus on driving more traffic rather than just producing more.

🌐 4. Refresh All My Websites

This has been on my to-do list for too long.

I need to refresh a few websites:

  • Rework Labs — My freelance and client services
  • ProductizeHQ — Home for my commercial products
  • VisualDev Studio — Free tools and experiments

I want to get their positioning and websites sorted out before the year ends.

🧩 5. What’s Next for Filament?

This is something I still need to figure out.

I’ve got a few Filament-related products and ideas, but I’m not sure whether I should continue rolling them out or just maintain what I already have.

I guess November is a good time to rethink the direction and decide what’s worth pursuing next.

🛠️ 6. Maybe One Tiny Experiment?

I still have this tiny tunnel idea that I’d love to build and release.

But this time, I’m keeping it at the bottom of the list.

If I manage to finish the important stuff early, maybe I’ll give it a go. Otherwise, it can wait.

I think my biggest problem over the past few months has been jumping between too many ideas and spending too much time building.

I enjoy building new things, but I need to get better at actually selling and marketing them.

So yeah, November is going to be more about getting products into people’s hands, rather than starting another new project.

30 copies of MailScope. That’s the main target.

Let’s see how it goes! 🚀
