Old friends

As I get older, I realise the value of catching up with people I haven’t seen in a long time. Today was one such day when I met some old friends with whom I had lost touch over 50 years ago. It was a delightful experience to reminisce about the good old days of our childhood and young adulthood and share stories of what has happened over the decades. While some stories were about sad times, most were about happier times. It was surprising how much we all remembered about growing up together, and time had not faded our memories of those great times. They are great memories and I hope they never fade.
