One app to replace them all

“One app to replace them all” is a pretty bold statement and one made by lots of task and project management apps, including the one I have been exploring over the past week, ClickUp.
I often take such claims with a grain of salt, as the reality is that no “off the shelf” can replace all my apps. It is just not possible. However, this bold claim hasn’t stopped me from looking closer at the app for my work needs.
ClickUp is feature-rich, with the advantage that it keeps lots of things in one place. As a result, you can plan, track and prioritise many different tasks. With the custom views, it is easy to move tasks around and group them logically. Its team collaboration is quite good, and I can see this tool being used more widely across the organisation.
There are some template tools, which would be very helpful if I need to set out the standard procedures. These templates would be a big step forward if I could get this to work.
I am struggling a little in understanding their document functionality. I think it is because I struggle with editing documents on a browser application. Nevertheless, I will persist and see if I can make it work.
At this stage, I am still not convinced it is the one app for everything, but it does have some promise.
