One day at a time

What a lesson to be reminded of.
I realise that sometimes this is easier said than done.
But it does beg for a reminder every once in a while.
In my experience, journaling also really helps a lot.
Pouring your thoughts and worries down can help the mind manage the stress of the now and rid itself of the anxiety from the past and future.
When looking back from the future, we realise how easy of a situation we were in, and how desperate we were, hence proving the value of journaling again.

Wow that passage is awesome. Almost poetic.
I’m always impatient for my desired future to arrive and thus never feel contented or happy with my present. Journaling, writing here, and having time hop remind me of my struggles 1 year ago had been helpful in nurturing gratitude.
