Product Weekend 2024 #03

It’s April, and I’m excited for my 3rd Product Weekend. This initiative has been great for me in 2024, as it forces me to set aside a weekend every month to focus on my products, whether I’m working on something existing or building a new one.

For my 3rd Product Weekend, I have a simple and straightforward plan: get HookFeed live. HookFeed is like an inbox for webhooks, and I chose to build it first because I need it. Instead of getting spammed with emails for events, I’d prefer to have an app that collects all of them.

I’ve built prototypes for HookFeed before, but technology has evolved since then, and there are some features that I couldn’t implement easily during my prototypes that I can do now. So, I think it’s time to build the product.

My plan for this Product Weekend is as follows:

1. Build the landing page.
2. Build the backend, webhooks & API.
3. Build the mobile app.

The product will most likely be ready by the end of the Product Weekend. However, waiting for beta testing by the public might take some time to get approval from Apple. I hope that the product can be beta-tested before the end of April.
