Protein

This morning finally a guy from a local fibre optics company showed up. I’ve signed the contract to get “lightning fast” internet quite a while (more than two years back if I recall correctly) back. He took some pictures and wrote down the necessary data. I don’t think construction will start anytime soon, but at least that is something more solid than waiting and waiting and waiting.
Since the meeting didn’t take as long as I expected, I hit the gym directly afterwards. After I finished my routine, I talked to one of the coaches about adding protein to my diet to improve muscle growth and strengthening.
Luckily, there is a machine directly at the exit of the gym that freshly produces protein shakes and with the subscription, it is cheaper than buying the powder and mixing it myself.
I also got the benefit of trying 10 different favours instead of trying a bunch of powders and knowing most of them don’t taste that good, I think it is better to go with the one the gym suggests.
Interestingly, they also got two different protein types, a normal one and a “complex” one. Apparently, one fills you for two hours, the other for eight. And you can even select the amount of protein in grams.
We’ll see how it goes. I will also need to adjust my “normal” eating habits to bring more in on the days I’m not in the gym.

Haven’t detailed check them today (they were on display while it was “shaking”), but will add them on Friday to my Calorie tracker. They seem to be a German company: https://bodyshake.com/

Vorsprung durch Technik

@therealbrandonwilson for the complex one (I took today) 40 Grams Protein, 203.78 kcal, 0.76 Grams Fat (0.49 grams of it saturated fat) 9.03 Grams Sugar, 0.31 Grams Salt, 8.49 Grams BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids). I guess there are vitamins too, but I took only a picture of the upper part of the nutrition information 🙈

Do you have an ingredient list of what’s in that gym shake?
