About writing:
I’ve managed to write 22 posts since August 16th.
I wanted to write 6 days/week, so 24 posts in 28 days.
Which means: I’ve missed my target by two missing posts. Not bad :)
Time of day: I’ve been wanting to write in the mornings before breakfast, so that later I don’t have to think about it anymore. But with my already established morning routine, it only added unnecessary stress. So I’ve decided to schedule in the writing to wrap up the workday, before dinner. And sometimes I did it earlier when I had an idea, insight or something that I wanted think about. I’m happy with that and would like to commit to continuing like this, until minimum end of September.

Writing content: Maybe I could dedicate the writing to the BIG vision, to process my learnings from the research phase, document it, and get clarity on the next steps?

About discernment who’s the right person:
Sharing the vision helps me connect with it. However, it’s good to be aware why I share it. Out of fear that otherwise I need to carry it out alone? Not a good reason.
Some people ask good questions but others don’t get it. And that’s OK. I’d like to be more careful who I share it with, as other people’s fears and criticism at this stage are not helpful. I need people who see the potential.

About finding the right form/to-dos:
I’ve been wanting to move forward with the podcast, but realized that it has to wait, for now. Because the driving force was fear, fear of not moving forward fast enough, if I didn’t press the vision in a first concrete shape, like the podcast.
I wanna give myself and the project time to mature and become clearer before I talk about it publicly. For now, I wanna carefully select the people that I share the vision with.
Learning: I continue to give time to the vision to take shape before pressing it into a/ (the podcast) form.

My needs vs the project’s needs:
I’m realizing that my needs of: learning, connecting, being creative, being productive, and collaborating play a big role in what I prioritize.
I wanna be careful that these needs don’t interfere with the project’s needs at any given stage. eg now the project is in the visioning phase, and mainly fulfills my needs to be creative and learn. Clearly, not yet the need for productivity.

Other insights:

  • There’s a network of people who are interested in what I’m building. 🤩

  • Connecting daily with the vision is already enough. It’s about creating space for it and giving it my attention.

  • It’s about setting up the research phase, with clear hypotheses, research questions. I wanna involve people that can offer ideas, insights, wisdom and support.

  • I need thinking and accountability partners, to not get lost, but see my progress and refocus.

  • I’ve learnt a lot! A lot became clear.

  • Trust, trust, trust! Trust that the right people show up. Trust that insights arrive in time. Trust that it moves forward in the right pace. Trust that I have all that it takes.

What’s next?
This week my goal is to plan the research phase, incl. intention, goals, to dos, who I involve.
