Rhetorical slides

Q: Of the tools sitting in your workspace right now, which one would an author outside your own head actually want to open — and what’s the one thing keeping it from ever leaving your workspace?
What would my Rhetorical Slides app look like as a product, even a free one? Anyone with AI can recreate it, but the concept is totally unique to me. I haven’t seen presentation software that starts with my premise – what if you couldn’t edit the composition and layout of a slide? What if the slide just displayed the best layout based on rhetorical shape?
There are essentially four parts to it.
- A slide viewer that can be dropped into a website.
- An html app for creating and exporting the slide decks.
- The spec for the slide files, saved in markdown.
- AI instructions for generating a deck.
My plan is to someday turn this into a pipeline for images, documents, slides, videos, and websites all based on the same underlying file. It already exports the slides as images, but I might include more options for making branded images based on a slide. As a document, the notes field would expand to become the text, and the slides would be selectively turned into images inside the document. To make a video I would need the app to record audio as it steps through the slides.
I’ve just been building this for myself, but maybe this question is pointing me in the right direction.
