So apparently it is Easter this weekend?

Since I’ve started working, I fully lost oversight on all holidays in Austria. Most of the time I notice something is odd, when I don’t see pupils on the streets (well, that is when I’m going out of the house at a time when normally some would show up). Or if there is child noises in the neighbourhood throughout the day instead of the morning and evening.
Sure, I’ve got the dates in my calendar, but most of the time I don’t notice those specific dates. So I’m looking at a three-day weekend (Monday is a public holiday) which is nice to recharge batteries, but it turns out we (my brother, my parents and me) will be doing a “small” roundtrip to relatives. So there goes my intent to slack for three days.

I’m definitely not doing that :) I might get smite by angles if I step into a church. I should write about the Roman Catholic shit that is still going on here in Austria. And no, I don’t mind whether somebody believes in something or has a religion, but the influence the church still has in politics over here is just crazy.
And don’t forget to schedule a trip to a local church on Sunday to see the show.
