Source pipeline

An idea ruined my sleep. I woke up extra early because I wanted to jot down an idea. And since I’m jotting the idea down, I might as well jot it down in Claude Cowork so it can build the thing. And that’s how I ended up developing a new pipeline for finding source material to read, research, and mine for writing exercises.

  • A skill searches the internet for recent articles, blogs, research, or short stories I might want to read.
  • Each source is saved as a Markdown file in a folder.
  • My Editorial Dashboard now loads these up so I can click through to the source, mark them as read, save notes, and mark if they were used for research or mined for exercise ideas.

Eventually I plan to add a list to my website of what I’ve been reading based on the sources marked “read”. And I might even set up a recurring task to add new sources each day.

Who needs Google anymore? I can get an AI agent to search for things to read while I sleep… if I don’t wake up early to build a new process.
